The Commander of the Ground Forces confirmed the Russian strike on the training ground and announced an investigation.


Major General Mykhailo Drapatiy, the head of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, confirmed the strike on the training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region and announced an investigation. He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and stated that everyone who made decisions that day would bear responsibility. Drapatiy appointed an independent investigation to clarify all the circumstances of the event. He also stated that he would demand the strictest punishment for those who foolishly draw soldiers into outdated procedures. The head of the Ground Forces urged all military personnel to rid themselves of formalism and frivolity.
Moreover, the command of the Ground Forces has prohibited the transfer of communication specialists to infantry and other positions. The investigation revealed cases of unjustified transfer of communication specialists to infantry units that had undergone training at the training center. Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, introduced the new commander of the operational and strategic grouping of troops 'Khortytsia', who became Major General Mykhailo Drapatiy.
