OpenAI Attracted $6.6 Billion in Investments for the Development of Its AI-based Chatbot
The company OpenAI, which created the ChatGPT chatbot powered by artificial intelligence, has received $6.6 billion in investments. This was reported by Reuters.
In the latest funding round, the company received funds from regular investors – venture capital firm Thrive Capital and Khosla Ventures, as well as from a major partner – companies Microsoft and Nvidia.
According to the publication, Apple did not invest in OpenAI in this round.
Currently, the total valuation of OpenAI is $157 billion.
This year, the company forecasts revenue of $3.6 billion, with profits exceeding $5 billion. Next year, revenue is expected to increase to $11.6 billion.
