Ukrainian military personnel who have not taken their vacation are eligible for a monetary compensation, even if they are discharged from the army. According to the new law, they have the right to compensation for unused basic, additional, or social vacations.Legal experts from the Goncharenko Legal Center explained that this law has simplified the procedure for compensation payment, which previously could require a court ruling. Now this right is enshrined in law, regardless of the reason for not taking the vacation.Additionally, we previously wrote about changes in payments to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in August 2025, as well as possible additional monthly payments for Ukrainian servicemen.
