The 'Pantsir-S1' complex failed to protect the largest Russian oil terminal in Crimea.
Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the oil depot in occupied Feodosia
The oil depot, which was located in the occupied city of Feodosia, was guarded by the Russian air defense complex 'Pantsir-S1'. The publication 'Radio Liberty' published satellite images that confirm the presence of this complex at the oil depot.
As early as October of last year, the partisan movement 'ATESH' published photographs and videos of the site, to which the Russian air defense system was delivered. Moreover, their agents collected a significant amount of information about the operation of the oil depot and the location of Russian systems during this Time.
According to satellite images published by 'Radio Liberty', it can be seen that the 'Pantsir' system indeed guarded the oil depot. Journalists note that similar systems were installed at other oil depots, particularly in Tuapse and near Putin's residence, the leader of the Kremlin.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a successful attack on the oil depot in Feodosia, which is located on the Crimean peninsula seized by Russia. This strike was an important step in the fight against Russian troops on the peninsula.
According to data obtained from the attack, a significant amount of fuel used to supply the Russian army was destroyed. The Feodosia oil depot is an important logistical hub for military equipment and weapons supplies in southern Ukraine, so this operation has great strategic importance.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces also attacked the naval oil terminal in Feodosia, which is under occupation. The incident, confirmed by the occupation authorities, led to a fire at the oil depot.
Recall that this is not the first successful strike by the Ukrainian Defense Forces against Russian military infrastructure in occupied territories.
