Corruption scandal with the head of MSEC: decisive actions taken in one of the regions.

In Volyn, efforts are being intensified to prevent corruption in institutions that directly affect mobilization. Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to review the decisions of the MSEC and VLC. This was announced by the head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration Yuriy Pogulyaiko.

«The corruption case with the MSEC in one of the regions has shaken the entire country. The cynicism and audacity of the situation is simply astonishing», – he wrote on social media.

Based on the results of a meeting with law enforcement officials, TCC and SP, chief doctors of medical institutions, heads of medical-social expert commissions of Volyn, heads of RMA and the head of the regional health department, law enforcement agencies have been instructed to start work on reviewing the decisions of the MSEC and VLC.

«If facts of unfounded adoption of such decisions are found – initiate a review. Also, work begins immediately on exposing corruption offenses in the field of official activities of the MSEC system and military-medical expertise», – the message says.

The Volyn Regional State Administration's health department has been instructed to strengthen the monitoring of MSEC and VLC decisions.

Earlier it became known that employees of the State Bureau of Investigation detained and charged the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise (MSEC) Tatyana Krupa.

Recall, the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise (MSEC) Tatyana Krupa and her son – the head of the regional Pension Fund Oleksandr Krupa were caught in illegal enrichment. During searches, almost $6 million was found in cash.

The SBI found $100,000, a number of forged medical documents, lists of «evaders» with surnames and fictitious diagnoses in the office of the head of the MSEC. In particular, the SBI employees found almost $5 million 244 thousand, €300 thousand, more than 5 million UAH, branded jewelry and valuables with the officials.

By the way, the head of Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, Serhiy Tyurin, commenting on the situation with Krupa's exposure, stated that he was astonished by the scales of cynicism.

Later, the press service of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council stated that personal enrichment through illegal actions is unacceptable, especially in the current Time of war.
