The country that pays for Starlink in Ukraine warned of a major international relations crisis.

The Polish Minister of Digital Technology Krzysztof Gawkowski stated that disconnecting Ukraine from the Starlink network could lead to a 'major international crisis.' Poland finances Ukraine's use of Starlink satellite communication for military and civilian needs. At the same time, Gawkowski stated that Poland will continue to pay for the use of Starlink services for Ukrainian military and civilian structures. The American side raised the issue of terminating Ukraine's access to Elon Musk's Starlink satellite communication system, but the company reported that they are committed to providing services to Ukraine. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated that Ukraine would find an alternative if Starlink is disconnected. The French satellite operator Eutelsat is negotiating with European governments to provide satellite communication in Ukraine instead of Starlink. Eutelsat, which owns the OneWeb system, stated that it has equipment for quick implementation in Ukraine to connect essential missions and infrastructure.
