Kravenko explained the success of the prosecutor's office reform during the war.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravenko, stated that the results of the prosecutor's office reform during the martial law are important for him. He emphasized that for him, achieving results is the main thing, not just holding a position.
In his statement, he noted:
'I am the responsible person, so I want to deliver results, I have been entrusted with this position, just being in this position - why? I have a desire to achieve results, my time is going in the opposite direction, diminishing'.
Kravenko also informed about changes regarding staffing resources, in particular allowing the transfer of employees from district prosecutor's offices to regional ones and appointing prosecutors from other law enforcement agencies. He considers these changes important for achieving reform.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General explained how the work of NABU and SAP would change after the adoption of law No. 12414, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on July 22 and provides for the liquidation of the independence of these bodies.
During the martial law in Ukraine, the Prosecutor General emphasizes the need to achieve results in the reform of the prosecutor's office, allowing the transfer of employees from district prosecutor's offices to regional positions and appointing prosecutors from other law enforcement agencies.Read also
