Cash Currency Market Sees New Highs for Dollar and Euro in Ukraine

According to Мінфін — Крипто/Фінанси: On July 24, the cash market in Ukraine experienced a rise in both the US dollar and the euro. The dollar's buying rate increased by 23 kopecks, while its selling rate went up by 25 kopecks. Meanwhile, the euro gained 19 kopecks on both the buying and selling sides.

At exchange kiosks, the average dollar rate edged up by 5 kopecks for purchases and 2 kopecks for sales. In contrast, the euro saw a 5-kopeck drop for purchases but a 2-kopeck increase for sales.

  • The hryvnia is trading against the dollar at 44.52–45.03 UAH.
  • Euro buying and selling rates stand at 50.77 UAH and 51.39 UAH, respectively.
  • On the currency auction, the dollar is quoted at 44.88–44.89 UAH, while the euro ranges between 51.20 and 51.37 UAH.
  • The interbank market opened with the dollar at 44.77–44.80 UAH, and euro trades are occurring at 50.97–50.99 UAH per euro.

These upward movements in the dollar and euro rates may point to shifts in Ukraine's economic landscape. Such changes can ripple through consumer prices, affect imports and exports, and influence financial decisions made by both businesses and households.
