Fierce frosts and ice: forecaster warned when Ukraine will be hit by real winter.

The weather forecast for the coming days in Ukraine is not very favorable. According to forecaster Igor Kibalchich, a significant drop in temperature and ice are expected.

According to forecasts, from December 13, there will be a noticeable decrease in temperature in Ukraine. Thermometers will show -12 degrees, but the weather will remain dry without significant precipitation.

Cold weather is also expected by the end of the week. At night, temperatures in some regions may drop to -5...-10 degrees, while in the Carpathians it could drop to -12 degrees. During the day, temperatures will also decrease, except in the south and Crimea, where a stable warm regime will remain.

Weather on December 12

On Thursday night, light rain is expected in most regions, which will turn into wet snow. During the day, precipitation is expected only in the east and in the Sea of Azov region. Ice may occur in the west and north of the country. Wind speeds will be 7-12 m/s.

Air temperature during the day will vary between -1...+4 degrees, while in some places in the south it may reach +5...+7 degrees.

December 13

Before the weekend, cool and changeable weather without precipitation is expected, but with possible ice on the roads. Wind speeds will decrease to 5-10 m/s. At night, temperatures will drop to 0...-5 degrees, while in the Carpathians it will be even colder - from -7 to -12 degrees. During the day, thermometers will show from -3 to +2 degrees.

December 14

On Saturday, dry weather is forecasted, but during the day in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia there will be wet snow and rain, as well as possible ice. Wind speeds will be 7-12 m/s. Nights will be cool with temperatures from -1 to -6 degrees, and in the eastern regions and Carpathians, it will be even colder - temperatures will drop to -5...-10 degrees. During the day, thermometers will show from -1 to +4 degrees, while in the south it may be warmer - from +5 to +7 degrees.

December 15

By the end of the week, precipitation in the form of snow, wet snow, and rain is expected. Wet snow may accumulate in places, and there may be ice on the roads. The air temperature at night will fluctuate between -2...+3 degrees, and during the day it will rise to +1...+6 degrees. In the south and Crimea, +5...+10 degrees is expected.
