Electricity Consumption Restrictions in Lviv and Region
According to Novyny.live: On February 7, electricity consumption restrictions, including scheduled power outages for specific consumer groups, are in effect for Lviv and the surrounding region. According to information from the press service of Lvivoblenergo, an outage schedule has been established for the specified day.
Outage Schedule
Power cuts are scheduled for the following groups:
- Group 2.1: from 9:30 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight)
- Group 2.2: from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM
- Group 3.2: from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Group 4.2: from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- Group 6.2: from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Meanwhile, groups 1.1, 1.2, 3.1, 4.1, 5.1, 5.2, and 6.1 will receive an uninterrupted power supply.
Furthermore, Ukrenergo has reported a decrease in electricity consumption amid warming temperatures, which may impact the overall power supply balance. Additionally, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced record levels of electricity imports from abroad, likely related to the need to ensure a stable power supply in Ukraine. These measures are part of a national effort to manage the energy grid following extensive damage to infrastructure.
The electricity consumption restrictions in Lviv and the region highlight the efforts of local energy companies to maintain the stability of the power system amidst changing climatic conditions and ongoing challenges.
