According to FREEДOM: The Secretary General of the Alliance, Mark Rutte, stated that Ukraine's path to NATO is irreversible. He emphasized this during an official visit to Kyiv with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by FREEДОМ.
“We have command in Wiesbaden, where together with Ukraine we plan all necessary support from NATO. We are actively working on ensuring the long-term training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so that they are compatible with the forces of the bloc and meet the standards of the Alliance. We also have a comprehensive support program: we are purchasing lethal weapons from American stocks, air defense systems, interceptors for Patriot - and NATO is involved in all of this. At the summit in Washington, we stated that Ukraine's path to NATO is irreversible,” said Mark Rutte.
Zelensky added that the program for purchasing American weapons by NATO countries is already operational, attracting 1.5 billion dollars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine every month.
It is recalled that earlier the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, noted that a group of 30 countries, including Australia and Japan, is working on a concept of security guarantees for Ukraine.
