According to UATV: On July 12, 2023, Russian forces launched a series of strikes across multiple Ukrainian cities, including Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Kramatorsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure. In Kryvyi Rih, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the assault claimed the lives of two people. A local resident was also killed in Nikopol, highlighting the direct impact of the aggression on the civilian population.

In Kramatorsk, the attacks sparked fires that engulfed two private homes. The Kharkiv region also suffered, with 20 people reported wounded, including two teenagers. Specifically, Kharkiv city saw 12 injuries, while Izium recorded seven. Odesa experienced property damage, with two private houses and three cars partially destroyed.

In Sumy, a Russian airstrike killed five civilians, among them a 13-year-old girl. A total of 140 people, including 20 children, were evacuated from damaged apartment buildings, underscoring the scale of the humanitarian crisis triggered by the military actions.

Military Operations and Their Consequences

During the night of July 12, the Russian army struck Ukraine with nine Kh-59/69 air-launched missiles, four Kh-31 missiles, and 115 attack drones. These attacks demonstrate the growing intensity of combat operations and their toll on civilian life in Ukraine.
