Situation in the Nikopol District
In addition, following the strikes on January 7, 8, and 9, seven people remain hospitalized in serious condition. In the Nikopol District, artillery shelling targeted Nikopol, Marhanets, and Pokrovsk communities. To assist residents whose homes were damaged in the Metallurgical district, a headquarters will operate, which will open on January 14 from 08:00 to 17:00.
The situation in Kryvyi Rih and the Nikopol District illustrates the continuing escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, where civilian infrastructure is becoming a target for attacks. The prompt response of local services to the aftermath of shelling indicates readiness to eliminate the effects of emergencies.
