Russian Military Operations Across Ukraine

According to UATV: Russia's armed forces have launched a series of devastating attacks across Ukraine's Kherson, Sumy, and Donetsk regions, resulting in civilian casualties and widespread destruction of non-military infrastructure. These events highlight the ongoing armed conflict's severe toll on innocent residents in these areas.

On July 19, a 75-year-old woman was killed in the Kherson region after a guided aerial bomb (KAB) strike. Four other people were injured in the same attack, including two women aged 53 and 54 who required hospitalization. Furthermore, the shelling destroyed over 20 homes across the Kherson region, illustrating massive infrastructure damage.

Regional Developments

In the Sumy region, Russian aircraft dropped seven KABs on the city of Sumy. A deceased man was discovered in the Kovpak district, while three other individuals sustained injuries during the assault. These incidents underscore the grave danger facing civilians in this area.

In the Donetsk region, Russian forces targeted 11 populated localities, killing five people and wounding six. The city of Kramatorsk endured 17 strikes, 10 of which involved KABs, leading to three deaths and two injuries. Meanwhile, in Druzhkivka, attacks killed two people and damaged one apartment building and nine private homes.

Additionally, in Zaporizhzhia and its surrounding region, 13 people were injured in attacks, including two children. These incidents demonstrate that military operations in Ukraine continue to harm civilians, affecting both adults and children. The situation remains tense, with infrastructure destruction pointing to the conflict's lasting consequences for local communities.

'Violence in Ukraine remains at a high level, and the latest attacks in the Kherson, Sumy, and Donetsk regions show that the civilian population continues to suffer from the conflict's aftermath.'

The destruction of infrastructure and loss of life have created severe humanitarian challenges that demand urgent action. Amid ongoing threats, it is critical for the international community to focus on supporting Ukraine and protecting the rights of people trapped in the conflict zone.
