Ukraine Under Fire: Latest Casualties
According to Espreso.tv: Over the past 24 hours, Russian attacks across Ukraine have left five people dead and 31 injured, including four children. The strikes targeted the Donetsk, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, causing widespread destruction and civilian casualties.
Breakdown of the Attacks
In the Donetsk region, five people were killed—three in Kramatorsk and two in Druzhkivka. Another six residents were wounded there. The Kherson region also suffered heavily:
- 25 people were hurt, four of them children;
- 11 apartment buildings were damaged;
- nine private houses;
- an outbuilding;
- mobile phone towers;
- and an ambulance.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person died from shelling in the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts. Additionally, a drone struck a passenger train in the Zaporizhzhia region, injuring a train attendant. On July 19 alone, Russian forces launched 41 missiles and 125 drones against Ukraine. Air defense systems managed to intercept or suppress 126 of these aerial threats.
These events highlight the ongoing escalation of the conflict and the serious risks faced by civilians in Ukraine. The situation remains tense, as continued shelling causes significant damage and loss of life. Such actions underscore the need for international support for Ukraine and enhanced security measures to protect innocent people.
