Massive Flood in Indonesia: 13 Dead, Rescue Operations Continue.

A massive flood occurred in North Maluku province, Indonesia, leading to the death of at least 13 people. Two people were also injured. The flood was caused by heavy rains that damaged dozens of houses, especially in the village of Rua. Rescue operations are currently ongoing, and authorities are urging local residents to be vigilant and follow evacuation instructions. Organizations are providing assistance to the affected areas.

«We urge people to remain vigilant and follow the authorities' instructions regarding possible subsequent floods», said Abdul Muhari, a spokesman for the National Disaster Management Authority of Indonesia.

The affected areas are in need of humanitarian tents, blankets, mattresses, tarpaulins, and other essential items. Ukraine is ready to negotiate with Russia but only on the condition that it is an honest dialogue. This was reported by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Guangzhou.

Kuleba also expressed his belief that China's global role is important in achieving a just peace in Ukraine, and this aligns with China's strategic interests. As a result of the meeting, China and Ukraine agreed to consider and plan bilateral relations in the long term.
