New Gas Maintenance Fee for Apartment Residents: Bills Starting at 116 Hryvnias.
Gas Network Maintenance in the Kyiv Region
According to Novyny.live: Starting in July 2026, residents of apartment buildings will receive an additional bill from the company 'Gazmerezha' for gas network maintenance. These charges are based on inspections of gas pipelines across 399 buildings in the Kyiv region. The amounts will vary, beginning at 116 hryvnias and potentially reaching several thousand hryvnias, depending on the condition and age of the gas systems.
Inspection Frequency for Gas Networks
Gas networks that have been in operation for over 25 years must be inspected once every three years. For systems with a service life of up to 25 years, inspections occur once every five years. This regular maintenance is essential to ensure the safe operation of gas infrastructure in residential buildings.
The work schedule has already been published on the 'Gazmerezha' website, allowing residents to stay informed about planned activities. For payment convenience, several options are available:
- online banking
- bank branches
- Ukrposhta offices
- EasyPay self-service kiosks
Payment details include the company's EDRPOU code 45385755, MFO 320478, and IBAN: UA183204780000026005924946485 (AB 'UKRGASBANK').
This initiative aims to maintain a high level of safety and efficiency in the region's gas supply, while also informing residents about necessary maintenance costs.
Regular maintenance of gas networks is a critical component of ensuring safety for apartment building residents. Since gas systems can pose potential hazards, especially when neglected, these measures help prevent emergencies and ensure a stable gas supply.
Residents can review the work schedule and bills, which promotes transparency in the maintenance process.
