We love our president. Russians evacuated to Ukraine spoke about the strike on the boarding school in Sudzha.
More than 100 Russian civilians, including several seriously injured, were evacuated to Ukraine after an attack on a boarding school in Sudzha, Kursk region, where civilians were present. One of the victims said she does not know who carried out the attack, while several evacuees recounted how they voted for Putin. This was reported by the Washington Post, which spoke with over 40 Russian civilians who found themselves in Ukraine.
The majority of these civilians crossed the border during a nighttime evacuation after the deadly attack on the boarding school in Sudzha on February 1. This cross-border evacuation from Kursk became the largest relocation of Russian civilians since the start of the Kursk operation. Ukraine will attempt to return these people back to Russia via Belarus, as it had done with other evacuees.
Journalists from WP met with evacuated civilians in a Ukrainian hospital and shelter. The evacuees told the reporters about the strike on the boarding school in Sudzha. They say they were preparing for sleep at that moment. Among those who spoke to WP was 69-year-old Antonina Romanova, who was struck by a falling wall. She currently has crushed legs.
According to her, civilians and Ukrainian soldiers rushed to rescue her but could not reach her due to the debris. The woman heard servicemen shouting to locals to hide from Russian drones, warning that the building might be attacked again.

According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at the time of the attack, dozens of local residents were in the building, preparing for evacuation.
The Russian side knew that only civilians – local residents, including women and children – were at the boarding school.
The strike on the boarding school in Sudzha is another war crime of the Russian authorities directed against the civilian population. The Russian army terrorizes Ukrainian cities daily with missile and drone strikes, destroying residential buildings, schools, and hospitals. Now it has begun deliberately killing its own peaceful citizens, according to the General Staff.
Earlier, Russian blogger Vladimir Sinelnikov reported that Russian troops struck the boarding school with a FAB.
Previously, Russian aviation conducted a double airstrike on a nursing home in the city of Sudzha in the Kursk region.
