Now Ukrainians can take into account the experience gained abroad when calculating their pension in Ukraine. The new rules allow for the combination of work experience in Ukraine and abroad to determine the age at which a pension can be received. They also emphasize that foreign experience affects the right to a pension, but not its amount.'Ukrainians who worked abroad are advised to obtain official confirmation of their foreign experience from the competent pension authorities of the country where they worked.
