Ministry of Finance reported a sharp decrease in state budget revenue.
The general fund of the state budget of Ukraine in September 2024 was replenished by UAH 122.9 billion from taxes, fees, and mandatory payments. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
This figure is a significant increase compared to July, when revenues amounted to UAH 120 billion, but lower than in August, where the amount was UAH 386.2 billion, including UAH 228.1 billion in international assistance.
Main sources of income in September: VAT on imported goods (UAH 40.2 billion), VAT on domestic goods (UAH 22.6 billion net revenue), excise tax (UAH 21.3 billion), personal income tax and military levy (UAH 20.2 billion). A substantial amount of funds also came from corporate profit tax, duties, and mineral extraction rent.
The State Tax Service overperformed the monthly plan by 104.8%, while the State Customs Service fulfilled it by 86.9%. Total revenues to the state budget, including the special fund, amounted to UAH 231.6 billion in September.
According to the State Treasury Service, for the first nine months of 2024, the general fund of the state budget amounted to UAH 1.54 trillion.
It was previously reported that the 2025 budget is short of several billion hryvnias.
