The Ministry of Defense has allowed the operation of the combat module 'Tavriya'.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially presented a new development – a combat module called "Tavriya". This is a remotely controlled turret with two machine guns, one of which is large-caliber. The module can be installed on armored combat vehicles or used to equip ground robotic platforms.
The turret with machine guns is capable of capturing and tracking targets, firing at moving objects, and operating both day and night. The entire module structure is highly durable and can withstand bullet hits from small arms and protect against shrapnel.
The management of the combat module and operator observation is carried out from inside the armored combat vehicles, providing additional protection for the operator-soldier.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense also codified the unmanned ground robotic complex "Targan", developed in Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the year, over 140 unmanned aviation complexes and 33 ground robotic complexes produced by domestic enterprises have been codified and allowed for operation in the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
