Ministry of Defense named the number of citizens who applied to the recruitment centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, as of October 14, almost 21,000 citizens applied to the centers of the Ukrainian army, of which 804 were those who applied in the last week.

According to the Ministry of Defense, out of the total number of 20,954 requests, 5,230 people became candidates for service in the Defense Forces. Among the most popular positions for which applications were received are drivers, staff workers, and UAV operators.

The ministry reminded that currently there are 42 recruitment centers in Ukraine, two of which were opened just last week. These centers provide an opportunity to join the Armed Forces, as well as other security structures such as the National Guard, the State Border Service, and the SBU.

The recruitment process is confidential, and summonses are not issued in consultation centers, noted the Ministry of Defense.

Recall that a recruitment project to the Armed Forces was launched in Ukraine. Any interested person can choose a specific unit and start serving in a specific position.

Recruitment service in the «Reserv+» application

Already in October of this year, the Ministry of Defense application will have a recruitment service called «Reserv+». With the help of this update, users will be able to find their future place of service faster, as current vacancies in the Armed Forces units will be available.

It is also worth noting that on September 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted amendments to bill No. 12023, which concerns the order of military service under contract for foreigners and stateless persons. The changes were voted for by 278 deputies.
