The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is introducing new positions for officers, sergeants, and soldiers in military units, battalions, and hospitals. This is a step towards improving social support for the military.
Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Melnyk stated that employees in these new positions will assist military personnel, their families, and command in solving various problems. To this end, specialists in social support for military law and working with the wounded and prisoners of war will be trained.
Involving civilians in these positions is also being considered by the Ministry of Defense.
In addition, research trials of sports shoes for servicemen have been conducted and a new rotation mechanism at the front has been developed.
