Status of Ukraine's Damage Register from RF Aggression
As of May 2025, the Ministry of Justice reported that over 27,500 applications had been submitted to the International Register of Damages caused by RF aggression against Ukraine (RD4U).
It was noted that a new, tenth category of applications related to the damage or destruction of non-residential property was announced. RD4U was launched in April 2024 as a first step towards creating an international compensation mechanism for compensating those affected by Russian aggression.
Ukraine, along with international partners, is actively working on launching all components of the mechanism, including the commission for reviewing applications and the compensation fund
