Lost Air India Plane Found After 12 Years: Airport Issues Bill.
Loss of Air India Plane
According to The Sun: Air India has reported that it has managed to locate the Boeing that went missing over ten years ago. The company may now face substantial fines for parking delays. It has come to light that the plane disappeared from the records back in 2012 at Kolkata Airport.
It seems it was removed from the documents before the airport inquired with Air India about the aircraft.
“We found the plane that was missing from the records.”
This case underscores the importance of maintaining accurate records and oversight of aviation equipment. The loss of an aircraft for such an extended period can have serious repercussions for the company, as fines for incorrect information in documentation can be quite significant. Such situations can impact not only the financial condition of the company but also its reputation among clients and partners.
