Mobilization of citizens aged 50 and above: MP explained the nuance.

According to the directive of the Land Forces Command, men aged 50-60 can only be mobilized by a separate order. This information was confirmed by Fedir Venislavsky, a member of Parliament and a member of the National Security and Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, in an interview for Liga.net.
Venislavsky stated that there is indeed a provision in the Land Forces Command directive that restricts the mobilization of citizens aged 50-60. This is a common practice of military leadership.
Based on scarce military registration specialties, only individuals over 50 are conscripted.
At the same Time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issues a separate mobilization order for the conscription of such citizens.
It should be noted that member of Parliament Oleksiy Honcharenko had previously reported about this directive of the Land Forces Command. According to the document, conscription is suspended for men aged 18-25, but individuals aged 25-49 can be mobilized. After 50, men can only be mobilized by a separate order issued by the General Staff, taking into account all necessary data.
The Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have updated the news, clarifying some aspects regarding the conscription of citizens of certain categories. This action is intended to reduce tension in society. The details of the changes have not been disclosed.
