Mobile fire groups of the National Guard have downed over 300 'Shahed' drones
Ukrainian mobile fire groups of the National Guard have destroyed more than 300 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of the 'Shahed' type this year. This was reported by National Guard spokesman Ruslan Muzychuk.
According to him, these mobile teams successfully support Ukraine's air defense system. In the first two months of this year alone, the enemy suffered losses of 300 'Shahed' drones that it used in its actions.
These fire groups provide protection for the country's critical infrastructure, cities, and citizens in the event of air attacks by the Russian Federation. Additionally, the National Guard is actively developing drone systems. They have created separate units with unmanned aerial vehicles such as 'Typhoon', 'Wings of Omega' and strike UAVs of the 27th Pechersk Brigade. Each brigade, regiment, or battalion also has its own units for drone operations.
The National Guard is training its UAV operators and developing relevant programs. Some military units also have workshops where drones are assembled, repaired, and upgraded. Specialized electronic warfare units have also been created to train specialists.
