Moscow's Vnukovo Airport Suspends Operations.
On the night of September 1, Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport introduced temporary restrictions on departing and landing aircraft. This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency TASS.
Three flights for departure and nine for arrival were delayed, and one was canceled at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, according to data on its online board
As of 6:40 AM, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported nine downed drones that threatened Moscow.
On the night of September 1, drones attacked various regions of the Russian Federation, including Moscow, Ryazan, Tula, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, and Oryol. Explosions were also recorded in the Kaluga and Oryol regions.
One of the drones attacked the town of Kashira in the Moscow region. As a result of the attack, the Kashira district power station was damaged. Also, in Moscow, after the drone attacks, a fire broke out at an oil refinery.
Moreover, drones attacked the Tver region. The Konakovo power station was attacked. According to local residents, the attack began around 3:30 AM. Five to six drones were recorded. Roads towards the station are now blocked, and a fire broke out at the station.
