The Ministry of Health of Ukraine informed that from January 1, 2025, a new system for assessing the daily functioning of individuals will be introduced. This will apply to all persons with disabilities who need to undergo a re-examination after January 1, 2025.
Currently, an automatic extension of the disability period is provided for such individuals. This means that those who, for some reason, could not undergo the examination on Time will have the opportunity to complete the paperwork by July 1, 2025.
One of the significant innovations is the possibility of electronic confirmation of status. In particular, pension certificates can now be obtained in electronic format through the 'Diya' app.
To use this service, you need to take a few simple steps: open the app, go to the documents section, choose 'Add Document', and specify 'Pension Certificate'.
Experts emphasize that the electronic certificate has full legal force and can be used just like a paper document.
Individuals who only have a paper certificate can exchange it for an electronic one by applying to the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or a service center.
Previously, in Ukraine, it was allowed to reserve 100% of employees of two more categories.
