Tragic death of a mother during an extreme jump
According to The Sun: A mother of two, Elizaveta 'Liza' Hushkina, died while celebrating her birthday, trying to take a selfie after a successful bungee jump. She fell from a height of 88 meters (290 feet) while attempting to capture the moment on camera.
East2WestBefore the jump, 45-year-old Liza was excitedly laughing, shouting: “Let’s go!” The video shows her descending with a joyful scream, but she only sustained minor injuries during her first jump.
Accident while attempting to take a selfie
After her first jump, she decided to go back up to the platform to 'take a memorable selfie.' The tragedy occurred when she stepped onto the platform at a height of 290 feet without safety cables.
“Without safety cables... she went back up, slipped, and fell,” Russian media reported.
Liza's son, Nikita, witnessed this horrific event during their visit to an abandoned boiler tower to celebrate her birthday.
A representative from the company 23block, the organizer of the jumps, expressed condolences:
“In tragic circumstances, experienced jumper and mother of two children, Liza, has passed away. Now the whole team mourns her loss, it is a great tragedy for us.”

Investigation into Liza's death
The Attorney General of Russia has launched an investigation into the incident to determine whether the organizers of the attraction adhered to all safety requirements.
This tragedy occurred a few weeks after the death of 19-year-old influencer Tijana Radonić, who fell from 45 meters during a panic attack, unfastening her parachute harness:
“Tijana fell after unfastening her harness during a panic attack,” sources reported.
