Kateryna Pavlichenko's Participation in the Conference in Chisinau

According to inkorr.com: The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko attended the "Women for Security 2025" conference held in Chisinau. She emphasized the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, noting that equal conditions need to be created in all structures and a new culture of thinking should be formed.

Kateryna Pavlichenko also discussed already implemented initiatives in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, such as gender-sensitive management, training of personnel, and improvement of legislation. She stressed the importance of international cooperation in these matters.

The speaker particularly highlighted the necessity of creating equal opportunities for women and men in all structural divisions, as well as the importance of integrating gender components into various areas of policy to implement mechanisms for protection against discrimination.

"In the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, we consistently implement the principles of Resolution 1325: creating equal opportunities for women and men in all services, ensuring gender-sensitive management, training personnel, improving legislation, implementing mechanisms for protection against discrimination, integrating gender components into personnel, budgetary and educational policies."

Kateryna Pavlichenko also expressed gratitude to Moldova and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their active leadership on gender equality and the development of security policy.
