According to Tourism.d.ua — Туризм: Tourists can now explore two newly established hiking trails in Chernivtsi Oblast, both starting from the village of Samakova. The first route takes visitors to the former 'Pamir' radar station, offering a chance to delve into the history of this unique Cold War-era facility. The second, longer path stretches over 5 kilometers and ascends to the summit of Velykyi Stizhok, providing panoramic views of the Carpathian landscape.
With these additions, Chernivtsi Region now boasts 39 marked tourist routes, highlighting its growing appeal as a travel destination. Beyond the new trails, the area is home to two nature parks—Vyzhnytskyi and Cheremoskyi—which offer diverse opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities.
