In the Kharkiv region, a man was sentenced for the murder of a teenager and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition. This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram.
Details of the Incident
The incident occurred in November 2023 in the village of Bezruki in the Kharkiv district. After a conflict with teenagers, a local resident struck a 14-year-old teenager in the head with a knife, resulting in the teenager's death. Additionally, homemade weapons and over 1000 rounds of ammunition were found in the man's septic tank.
Court Decision
During the court proceedings, the man admitted guilt for using a fake document and explained the possession of weapons by the state of war in Ukraine. He did not confess to murdering the teenager. The court issued a sentence of 14 years imprisonment for the man.
It should be noted that this morning in Kyiv, an SBU employee was killed in a residential complex. Recently, a man was shot dead in a car in one of the capital's districts.
