In the Kharkiv direction, the AFU destroyed a Russian Mi-8.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the pressure of the Russian occupation forces and destroy Russian military equipment in the Kharkiv direction. This was announced by the operational-tactical grouping of troops «Kharkiv». 

Yesterday, on October 10, there were 5 combat clashes in the area of Starytsia and Vovchansk. The Defense Forces are adequately responding to enemy actions and continue to effectively destroy the manpower, weapons, and military equipment of the Russian occupiers.

«Enemy losses over the past day amounted to 112 personnel, of which irreversible – 50, sanitary – 62. Also in our direction, the enemy lost 77 units of weapons and military equipment destroyed and damaged. In particular, one unit of aviation equipment», – reported the military.

According to the report of the General Staff of the AFU, in the Kharkiv direction, the Defense Forces eliminated a Russian Mi-8 helicopter. 

Destroying enemy equipment is also helped by the Russians themselves. So, on the night of September 11, in the Russian town of Noyabrsk, two schoolchildren, aged 13 and 14, burned a multi-purpose Mi-8 helicopter. They were promised 5 million rubles (2.24 million hryvnias) for this «work».
