In the Kherson region, Russian soldiers are committing suicide instead of participating in assaults. This was reported by the partisan movement 'Atesh'.

The most cases occur among the military of the 126th, 205th, 70th, and 61st brigades, which make up the Russian group 'Dnipro' in the occupied part of the Kherson region.

'The reason for the tragedies is repression by the command, especially against those who refuse to participate in combat operations. Recently, a number of suicide cases have been recorded in various settlements of Kherson region.

Two weeks ago, a young man who had recently signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation hanged himself in Holaya Prystan, probably not realizing all the consequences. In Kalanchak, another soldier shot himself upon learning he was being transferred to an assault unit.'

In Skadovsk, another Russian soldier committed suicide by drowning in the sea. The command initially tried to hide it as an accident, but it later became known that beforehand, his commander had abused him. The soldier refused to participate in battles on the islands of the Dnipro.

The 1031st day of the full-scale war continues.

Situation on the front

The most difficult situation is in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions of the front. Russian occupiers have also significantly increased pressure in the Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Vremivka directions.

Over the past day, there have been 189 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to decisively repel attempts by the enemy to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.
