Traffic restrictions will be partially imposed at the border with Poland until the beginning of summer – State Customs Service.
The State Customs Service of Ukraine reports that traffic restrictions will be established at the international automobile checkpoint (MAPP) 'Ustyluh-Zosin' at the border with Poland from the Ukrainian side. According to unofficial data, these restrictions will last from April 30 to June 5. During this period, repair work will be carried out at the car crossing, including drainage installation, fencing, road marking, and the installation of automatic barriers.
It is also reported that on the Polish side of the checkpoint 'Zosin-Ustyluh', repair work will be carried out on the bridge over the Western Bug, as well as updates to the supports and access roads. This work will also lead to partial traffic restrictions, as only one lane of vehicles will be able to pass over the bridge, resulting in complications and traffic jams.
The State Customs Service recommends drivers to take these circumstances into account when planning their trips and, if necessary, to choose other less congested routes. In addition, it is reminded that repair work started at the checkpoint 'Shehyni' on April 22, so it is also advisable to consider the possibility of passing through other checkpoints, such as Rava-Ruska, Hrushev, Ugryniv, Smilnytsia, and Nyzhankovychy.
It is worth noting that such repair work is necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers and drivers, but they may also lead to temporary complications in traffic. Therefore, before traveling to Poland, drivers should carefully plan their routes and take into account possible traffic jams and restrictions at the indicated checkpoints.
