A fatal accident with a truck overturning occurred in Lviv region.

A bus and a truck collided in Lviv region, there is a victim and injured

Yesterday, a traffic accident occurred in Lviv region, in which a bus and a truck collided. The bus driver died, and 16 people were injured. The incident happened on the 'Kyiv-Chop' highway near the village of Zaklad in the Stryi district.

According to the police, the bus Etalon and the truck DAF collided. An investigation is currently underway regarding the individuals responsible for the accident. It has been preliminarily established that the bus driver was a resident of the Stryi district, while the truck driver was from Kherson.

One person died, and 16 were injured

As a result of the accident, the bus driver died. Also, 15 passengers were injured, including children and adults aged from 1 to 64 years. All of them were taken to the hospital with bodily injuries.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated

Lviv police have initiated a criminal proceeding regarding this traffic accident. Investigative actions are currently being carried out regarding violations of traffic safety rules. This crime carries a penalty of imprisonment from 3 to 8 years, as well as deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for up to 3 years.
