In the Lviv region, a woman suffered burns to her legs while saving her home from the fire. Initially, dry grass was burning, and then the fire spread to the house. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the State Emergency Service.
Dense smoke quickly filled the air, she fainted and fell right into the fire. She was rescued thanks to her neighbors. The woman was taken to the hospital with burns. The neighbor who helped her also sustained burns.
Residents of Lviv region set fire to dry grass. The flames spread quickly and engulfed the home of a pensioner who saw the fire approaching and tried to stop it. Firefighters urge people not to burn dry grass.
Among the fire, rescuers discovered a small hedgehog, which, although scared and singed, was managed to be saved. But this is not the only case where animals suffer from fires. Many of them do not have time to escape and die silently. Firefighters urge everyone to be careful and not to burn dry grass.
Additionally, in the village of Babynci in the Bucha district, a fire destroyed three houses with farm buildings due to the burning of dry grass. Recently, in the Zhytomyr region, a fire also damaged eight houses in the village of Novosilka.
