Changes in the tactics of Russian occupiers
According to inkorr.com: On the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian troops have changed their approaches to warfare. Now they conduct attacks on Ukrainian positions in small infantry groups, consisting of 2-3 people, trying to avoid the use of armored vehicles. This was reported by Yulia Stepanuk, head of the communication department of the 117th separate heavy mechanized brigade, in the Army TV program.
The occupiers are trying to advance by forming new infantry groups and changing their compositions. For logistical needs, they use motorcycles and ground robotic complexes, as the Ukrainian military has not seen enemy activity with armored vehicles for more than a month and a half.
“The last armored vehicles were seen a month and a half ago. Now we only observe solitary burned BMPs. For now, they are not using armored vehicles. They are just trying to infiltrate the rear and establish positions somewhere,” - explained a representative of the 117th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
Moreover, the occupiers actively use aviation for attacks on the front line as well as for strikes on the logistical routes of the Ukrainian military, utilizing all possible methods of camouflage. The number of airstrikes and drone attacks has increased, indicating an attempt to compensate for losses in armored vehicles through massive use of infantry and aviation.
Therefore, on the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy continues to change tactics, conducting attacks without armored vehicles and actively using infantry and aviation, attempting to cover their losses.
These changes in the tactics of Russian troops may indicate problems with resources and the need to adapt to the conditions of combat operations. By continuing to apply new approaches, the enemy is trying to maintain their activity on the front and inflict damage on Ukrainian positions.
