Last night, rescuers extinguished two fires in Sumy region caused by shelling. This was reported by the press center of the State Emergency Service (SES).
In particular, on the evening of December 14, a fire broke out in a private household in Okhtyrka as a result of enemy shelling.
Rescuers promptly localized the fire, preventing its spread to three outbuildings.
Later, in Shostka district, a private residence caught fire due to an attack.
Emergency workers extinguished the fire and protected the outbuilding from damage.

It is worth noting that the full-scale war in Ukraine is currently in its 1026th day. In total, there have been 296 combat clashes since the beginning of the last day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel enemy attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.
During the last day, Russian invaders carried out one missile strike on Ukrainian territory, dropping 70 KABs. In addition, the Russians employed over a thousand kamikaze drones and conducted more than four thousand shellings of our troop positions and settlements.
