In Sumy region, Russians drop incendiary mixture on forests from drones.
In the border areas of Sumy region, Russians drop cans with incendiary mixture causing fires. This was reported by the Northern Forest Office of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine".
In the forest areas of the Sveske forestry of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" a dangerous can with incendiary mixture was discovered. The branch director Oleg Maruha explains that the invaders use drones to drop such cans. Upon impact with the ground, they break, causing fires that quickly turn into forest fires.
Drones fly over our forests every day, - says the director. - There can be up to five fires a day in different parts of the forest, and such cans are one of the reasons. Where the military allows, we lay mineralized strips to contain the spread of fire, but unfortunately, we do not have access everywhere.
The "Forests of Ukraine" warned that visiting border forests is strictly prohibited as it is life-threatening.
If you come across such an object, do not touch it under any circumstances! Go back the way you came and immediately call: rescuers at number 101, police at number 102, or inform the military about the find, - reported the Northern Forest Office of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine".
