A three-year-old child from Ternopil independently walked through the forest for almost 10 kilometers and reached Rivne region. This was reported by the State Emergency Service (SES).

According to SES, the girl wandered in the forest for over 5 hours.

She set out into the forest on her own. Rescuers, police, and locals began searching for her.

Despite her age, the girl was found between villages in Rivne region - she had independently crossed almost 10 kilometers along forest roads.

The child is not in any danger, and her health and life are not at risk.

Earlier, it was reported that in Lviv region, rescuers found 11-year-old Solomiya Veklich from Rava-Ruska after seven days of searching.

The girl was found in the forest near the village of Richky in Lviv district; she was unconscious and exhausted. Solomiya was handed over to medical staff for examination.

More than 600 people participated in the search for the child, including police officers, rescuers, border guards, dog handlers, volunteers, and local residents. Helicopters and drones were also involved.

These two stories demonstrate the courage and resilience of young children who survive alone in difficult situations and cover significant distances. It is important to be attentive to children and to seek help immediately if they go missing or are lost. These stories also highlight the importance of community cooperation and mobilization of rescue services in such situations.
