In the village of Korzhivka in Vinnytsia region, a change occurred to the monument of Vladimir Ulyanov (Lenin). They added mustache and eyebrows, making it resemble Taras Shevchenko. This news was reported by the local publication Vinmedia.
The residents of Korzhivka created an interesting creative image by giving Lenin's face features of the Ukrainian poet Shevchenko. It turned out that Shevchenko wears a tie - this became known after deciphering the numbers under the bust, which had been covered with lime. In this village, an attempt was made to decorate the monument, which changed after this fact. The Lenin monument still existed with the dates 1870-1924, which were applied with lime.
