A priest of the Moscow church has been convicted in Vinnytsia for praising Putin.
The court issued a verdict regarding the rector of the Vinnytsia diocese of the UOC MP of Kalynivka. Father Yevhen Koshelnyk was accused of praising Putin and the occupiers, spreading pro-Kremlin narratives through Telegram, and awaiting their arrival in the region. For this, he faces punishment provided for by the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The court decided to replace house arrest with detention until the verdict comes into legal force.
Metropolitan Feodosiy remains under night house arrest, but the electronic bracelet is allowed to be removed.
The former rector of the cathedral in Kherson, Oleksiy Fedorov, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
A priest of the Kharkiv diocese of the UOC MP has been detained as a suspect of working for the enemy, reported the SBU.
