In Zakarpattia, on August 15, three carriages of passenger train No. 39/40 Zaporizhzhia — Solotvyno derailed. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the train is delayed.

Ukrzaliznytsia stated that there were no injuries among passengers and the train crew. A special commission will determine the cause of the derailment, although the preliminary version is a 'rail blowout' due to the abnormal heat.

'We apologize to passengers for the delay, we are already working on further logistics in the region and determining the deadlines for recovery work', the representative explained.

In addition, the suburban train No. 6581 on the Korolevo — Batovo route will be temporarily limited to the Vynogradiv station, and passengers of train No. 84 Solotvyno — Kyiv are asked to wait for information about the alternative route.
