National cashback: Fedorov said when Ukrainians will start receiving payments for purchases.
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Ukrainians have been credited over 2.9 million hryvnias under the "National Cashback" program.
This data was published on the minister's Telegram channel, reported "Khvylya".
Fedorov mentioned that for purchasing Ukrainian-made products, one can receive 10% of the purchase amount, which is up to 3000 hryvnias per month. Also, at the beginning of the month, the public beta test of "Natcashback" started.
According to the minister, the service is working stably. About 1.2 million Ukrainians have already joined the program, of which 638 thousand have activated cards in Diya. As for producers, 963 producers and 171 thousand products used the "Natcashback" program.
"The most important thing is that more than 2.9 million hryvnias of cashback have already been credited to Ukrainians. For users, this service is very simple: they open an online card in the bank, choose a Natcashback card in Diya, and cashback is credited monthly. However, technically this is one of the most complex services due to the large amount of data exchange between different electronic systems - banks, producers, retailers, information systems, tax authority, the Diya app and portal," said Fedorov.
Also, the minister noted that an anti-fraud system has been set up for spending funds, which allows payments only for certain categories of goods and services, such as utilities, medicines, and sports events.
Cashback payments for purchases in September will start on October 20, added Fedorov.
Earlier it was noted that the "National Cashback" could be expanded to another category of goods.
