Naftogaz Drops App Payment Fee: What the 'Kub' Update Means for Users.
Zero Fee for Gas Payments via the 'Kub' Mobile App
According to Novyny.live: Starting in early summer 2026, Ukraine's Naftogaz has eliminated the service fee for gas payments made through its 'Kub' mobile application. The app allows users to submit meter readings and process transactions. Previously, a 1% charge applied to each payment made via 'Kub', but this surcharge has now been removed. To take advantage of the free service, customers simply need to update the app to the latest version and select the 'My Bank' payment method.
Advantages of the Updated Service
The 'My Bank' option uses the IBAN2IBAN transfer mechanism, ensuring both security and convenience during transactions. Additionally, no fees are charged for gas payments through other widely used apps, including Oschad24/7, PUMB Bank, Monobank, and Raiffeisen. This move represents a significant step toward improving customer service and streamlining the payment process.
“In today's world, it's essential that everyday household tasks are handled quickly and easily, and that paying for gas is not only convenient but also cost-effective,” a Naftogaz representative stated.
This change aims to make gas payments more affordable and straightforward for consumers, which will undoubtedly enhance their overall experience with the company's services.
How can Naftogaz customers avoid overpaying for services? With the new payment conditions via the 'Kub' app, this concern has become far less pressing. Users can now enjoy the benefits of fee-free transactions, greatly simplifying their monthly gas bill settlements.
The elimination of the gas payment fee through the 'Kub' mobile app marks a major advancement in consumer service. Moreover, this innovation may encourage more users to switch to cashless payments, which in turn could reduce cash handling costs. In today's economy, where digital solutions are increasingly popular, such changes are likely to boost overall customer satisfaction with Naftogaz's offerings.
