The most intense fighting on the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsk directions, - General Staff.


Active combat on the front line
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that as of 16:00 on September 3, 2024, 118 enemy attacks have been recorded on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The most intense battles are occurring in the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsk directions, where almost half of all attacks took place.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops twice assaulted the positions of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk. The fighting continues. In the Kupyansk direction, four enemy attacks near Hlushkivka, Synkivka, and Berestove were repelled.
The Lyman direction is a hotspot, where 8 out of 16 enemy attacks have already been repelled. Fighting continues in the areas of Tvrdokhlibove, Druzhelyubivka, Novosadove, Hrekivka, Nevske, Torske, and Terny.
In the Siversk direction, all three enemy attacks near Verkhniokamianske, Vyiimka, and Spirne were successfully repelled by Ukrainian defenders.
The Kramatorsk direction experienced four assault actions by the enemy near Andriivka and Chasiv Yar, with active use of aviation. In the Toretsk direction, seven enemy attacks near Nelipivka and Toretsk were repelled.
The highest number of battles was recorded in the Kurakhiv direction - 37 attacks, with particularly intense fighting continuing in the areas of Ukrainske, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 31 attack attempts were recorded, of which 21 have already been repelled. The fiercest fighting continues near Novogrodivka and Mykhailivka.
The enemy continues to shell border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, as well as conduct air strikes on various settlements along the front line.
Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy's onslaught and provide a worthy response in all directions.
