Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of the US president, stated that Americans should be grateful to her father-in-law Trump and Elon Musk for their efforts. She urges citizens to show respect and gratitude to these two individuals for cleaning up federal agency staff and efforts to reduce costs.

People should appreciate Musk and Trump for what they have truly done, - said Lara Trump.

US President Donald Trump stated that Elon Musk can only recommend and not make personnel decisions within departments. This came after mass layoffs and threats directed at civil servants by Musk, who leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
