Hungary has stated that it will block Ukraine's accession to the EU due to the problems of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced this on his Facebook.
The head of the Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of restricting the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia, which is why Hungary is blocking Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
Szijjarto also emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities have not restored the rights of the Hungarian community that were taken away in 2015, despite promises.
